Privacy Policy

How Amicus collects, uses, and protects information provided by our users.

Legal Information Disclaimer: Amicus provides general legal information and document assistance only. It does not constitute legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently.

1. Who we are

Amicus is an AI-assisted legal information and document platform operated by Serendipity LLC ("Amicus", "we", "us", or "our"). Amicus is accessible at https://eagles.law. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@eagles.law.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo URL, Google user identifier, and authentication assertion. Amicus restricts access to pre-approved corporate domains; accounts outside those domains cannot create a session.

Content you submit

Amicus processes the content you provide in order to deliver its features. This includes:

Operational telemetry

We record audit events for actions performed in the platform (actor email, action, resource, timestamp, IP address). We collect standard web server access logs and error telemetry via Google Cloud Logging.

3. How we use information

We use the information above solely to operate Amicus on your behalf: authenticating you, answering legal-information questions, reviewing and drafting documents, generating compliance checklists, routing escalations to your designated attorney, and sending notifications you have configured. We do not use your submitted content to train machine-learning models and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Third-party service providers

Amicus runs on infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform and uses the following sub-processors to operate:

ProviderRole
Google Cloud PlatformCompute, storage, Firestore, Secret Manager, networking (United States)
Google FirebaseUser authentication (Google Workspace SSO)
AnthropicLarge-language-model inference for legal research, contract review, and drafting
OpenAILarge-language-model inference for review cross-checks (when enabled)
Twilio SendGridTransactional email delivery, including attorney escalations

Each sub-processor is bound by its own terms of service and data-processing commitments. Amicus transmits only the minimum data required for the specific task.

5. Storage, location, and retention

Account profiles, conversations, documents, matters, and audit logs are stored in Google Firestore and Google Cloud Storage in the United States. Secrets and API keys are stored in Google Secret Manager, encrypted at rest with Google-managed keys. All transport between Amicus and your browser or any sub-processor is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher.

Operational data is retained for the active lifetime of your account. You can request export or deletion of any data Amicus stores about you. Audit logs are retained for 13 months to support security and compliance obligations.
